The role
You will lead mechanical design on two or three programmes at a time, working in the same room as our controls and electronics engineers. You decide where precision is spent and defend it in design reviews.
What you’ll do
Define architecture and load paths, build CAD and drawings your suppliers can quote without a call, run tolerance stack-ups and FEA, and support builds in our lab.
What you bring
Six or more years designing machines that moved, ideally robotics, automation or medical devices. Confident with SolidWorks or Creo, GD&T and at least one FEA tool.
